The Weather prediction was again South Winds between 15-25 mph. Several Customers Showed up this Morning Ready To Go and the High Winds Did Not Deter any of Them. The "Reliable II" being 65' with a Large and Wide Slow Dead Rise Hull, she easily takes the Waves and Wind Well.
Jeff Stoner (Pictured 2nd From Left) from Dover, De., and a few of his Relatives from Wheeling, W. Va., came down To Try their Fishing Skills. Dale Knutsen, Jeff's Father-In-Law, Who Has Never Ever Been On A Headboat Before or Fished in Salt Water took to it like a Pro. Dale caught a Nice Size Tog and if that wasn't enough Caught a few more. Then Dale caught a nice size Sea Bass and to Top it off, he also Won the Onboard Fish Pool. Dale Outfished Everyone in His Group including His Two Sons, Dan and Eric and of course his Son-In-Law Jeff. Good Job Dad!!!!!! I am sure that you can tell from the Picture to your Left, which one is Dale. Brian Frey (Orange Shirt) also one of the Group caught a nice Sand Shark. They plan on Bar-B-Qing everything on the Grill Tonight. Just pass me the perfectly cooked Sea Bass Smothered in Melted Butter YUMmmmmmm!!!!!!!! Some Croakers were also caught.
My cousins Bobby Donze & Tracy took off a Much Needed day from Work to go Fishing and Bobby Caught One Nice Size Tog.

Where Do These Winds Come From?!!!!!! The Early Morning Started off Beautiful and the Winds Kicked up soon after with a Vengence and Never Let Up. It was hard Fishing and worse yet Holding Bottom. I Heard Someone say that their 16 ozs. of Lead was Floating on Top of the Water. Now that is Pretty Bad. You almost have to Fish with an Anchor on the end of your line just to get to the Bottom Today. Ben Bolton was back today TO STILL TRY and get that Big Flounder and Win the Big Bucks in the Annual Mega Cash Pot. Ben Caught the only Tog Fish Today which was just legal and also Won the onboard Fish Pool. A few Croakers were also caught. Ben and his wife, Teresa will be down Fishing tomorrow (Sunday) on the "Reliable II". The Annual Mega Cash Pot Soared to New HIGH'S Today and WENT OVER $600.00 BIG One's. Maybe, just Maybe, a Nice Big Flounder Doormat will be Caught Soon. It has to Weigh over 5.5 pounds to Beat the Current Contender caught by Faye Griffith from Seaford, De. Last year we Caught Several Flounders in the 7+ Pound Range. I think it is just a "Fluke" that we haven't Caught a Bigger Flounder so far this Season. The Annual Mega Cash Pot ENDS Saturday, October 31st and Should be very Exciting Right Down to the Very Last Day.
